PAEDIATRIC CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY

Although I'm best known for my work with babies, I also treat toddlers, preschoolers, older children, teens, and adults. You can read more about those areas of support here....

“Peter has magic hands but this does not do him justice.” - Kelly Rashleigh

Could it help my baby?

Baby treatment

I’ve been affectionately called the “Baby Whisperer” and “Magic Pete” — names parents have given me after seeing how calm and relaxed their babies become during treatment.

“I took my 4 week old baby to see Pete as he was struggling with wind and reflux… there was an incredible improvement in his reflux. Thank you so much Pete.” - Vikki Giles

I began practising CranioSacral Therapy more than 15 years ago and started working with babies very early in my training. Since then, I’ve completed over 10,000 baby treatments and now see around 20–30 babies every week. Supporting infants and their families has become a central part of my work.

Parents often tell me the same thing: they’re amazed by how peaceful their baby looks during and after a session.

“Absolutely amazing, my little boy had feeding issues from a fast delivery and tongue tie, jaw alignment. Can’t describe how effective the treatment is but he just works magic.” - Rhi Leia

Support for Feeding, Digestion, Comfort, and Healthy Development

Baby treatment

Families come to me for many reasons — often related to feeding, digestion, comfort, or general unsettled behaviour. I regularly work with babies who:

“Pete was fantastic! He made such a difference to our baby’s feeding! I have to admit to being a little sceptical before we went to see him, but I left a full convert.” - Richard Einstein

What a Treatment Looks Like

Craniosacral therapy for babies is extremely gentle. Babies may sit or lie in my arms, rest on my lap, or be held by their parents — whatever helps them feel most settled. I place my hands very lightly on the baby to feel for areas of tension; the pressure used is far lighter than the pressure used simply to hold them.

By working with the body’s natural rhythms, babies often become deeply relaxed and seem to enjoy the process. Younger babies in particular tend to respond quickly.

“We’ve been to see Pete a few times with our newborn after issues with feeding, a tongue tie and tension following a C-section. Wow, Pete has magic hands! Following each session our baby became calmer, less tense and we’ve seen an improvement in his latch and feeding.” - Rebecca & Lawrie

A Whole‑Body Approach

I work with the entire body — not just the head and neck, but also the abdomen and digestive system — to help release tension and support more comfortable movement and feeding.
